S&W Brings 10mm Power to the M&P Carry Comp Line

Smith & Wesson is expanding its Performance Center Carry Comp lineup with a chambering a lot of shooters have been asking for: 10mm Auto.

Announced January 13, 2026, the new Performance Center M&P 10mm M2.0 Carry Comp blends serious horsepower with recoil-taming features designed to keep the pistol controllable and shootable in real-world use.

Built around a 4-inch barrel, the Carry Comp uses Smith & Wesson’s Power Port™ system at the 12 o’clock position to vent gas upward. The goal is straightforward. Reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil, especially important when dealing with a full-power 10mm load.

Internally, the flat-face trigger is tuned for consistency, and the pistol ships with four interchangeable grip inserts, allowing shooters to tailor fit and feel.
