Tango Innovations’ Fire Control System: Totally Integrated Ballistics — SHOT Show 2026

The Tango Innovations FCS is an integrated 2–10x scope that combines a laser, IR illuminator, and onboard ballistic solver in one unit.

It merges optic, ranging, and laser functions into a fairly compact system designed to reduce rail clutter.

The FCS, or Fire Control System, targets shooters who want speed, data, and simplicity without stacking multiple devices. Instead of bridging accessories, everything lives inside a single housing.

Tango built the FCS around a native 2–10x optic with 0.2 MRAD adjustments. The system integrates a miniaturized laser derived from the Fire 4000, and pairs it with an IR pointer and flood capabilities. The goal is clear: shrink the footprint while keeping full fire control functionality intact.

The FCS combines the scope, laser, and illuminator into one chassis. This eliminates the need for separate lasers, bridges, or external modules. Compared to a traditional 1–8 LPVO paired with a laser unit, the FCS supposedly saves weight but definitely saves rail space.

Total system weight comes in at roughly 3.3 pounds. Tango says the setup trims a few ounces versus comparable multi-device configurations. The compact layout suits short-barreled rifles, 6 ARC builds, and SDMR-style platforms.

The FCS runs Applied Ballistics Elite software natively. Users can range targets in yards or meters directly through the optic. Ballistic corrections project into the reticle as an amber dot.

The display shows drop compensation, mill holds, wind recommendations, mover speed inputs, time of flight, remaining velocity, and terminal energy. Shooters can dial or hold based on preference. External devices like a Kestrel can feed environmental data into the system.

Scope and laser adjustments function independently. After zeroing the rifle, users align the laser using the included target. The process matches the laser to the reticle rather than requiring distance-based offsets.

Once set, the system supports ballistic solutions beyond 1,000 yards, depending on conditions and load data.

The FCS includes an integrated RMR footprint on the right side for offset red dot use. Additional footprints may follow. Integrated recoil bosses support a torque spec of about 65 inch-pounds, keeping the system locked in place under recoil.

Tango Innovations lists the FCS with an estimated MSRP of around $4,500. The company expects to begin shipping units before the end of the year, pending final production timelines.
