At SHOT Show 2026, Bersa showed up with a simple message: keep the guns slim, add capacity, and don’t blow the budget.
The headline grabber is the BP13, an evolution of Bersa’s slim BP9 CC. What used to be a single-stack carry gun is now a 13-round, double-stack, without losing that thin profile people actually liked in the first place.
The new BP13 stays compact but steps up capacity to 13+1. It comes optics-ready with a deep-cut slide that direct-mounts RMSc-pattern optics, keeping the dot low and clean.
Other updates include:
- Aggressive front and rear slide serrations
- Window cuts for weight reduction and style
- Updated grip texture
- Ambidextrous, reversible magazine release
- New internal trigger bar safety
The pistol feels purpose-built for concealed carry but no longer asks shooters to accept single-stack limitations.

Bersa didn’t stop at compact. The BP9 Full Size brings the same overall design language into a duty-sized handgun.
Key details:
- 17-round Mec-Gar magazine
- Full-length grip
- Accessory Picatinny rail
- Similar ergonomics and texture to the BP13
Think of it as the BP13’s bigger sibling: same idea, more grip, more rail space, and more rounds.
The final update lives in Bersa’s high-capacity, 2011-style lineup. The M2XI now offers an optional steel grip module, and it’s exactly what you’d expect.
The added weight noticeably tames recoil and gives the pistol a more planted feel in the hand. It also changes the balance in a way competition and range shooters will appreciate. Less snap, more control.
Here’s where Bersa raises eyebrows. Both the BP13 and BP9 Full Size are expected to land around the $400 mark, pending final details. That puts optics-ready, double-stack pistols squarely in budget-friendly territory—without feeling cheap.
Compact carry, full-size duty, and a steel-grip option for their 2011-style pistol. That’s a solid spread for one booth.
