Review: Range Panda Charging Handle for the FLUX Legion

The SIG P320 FLUX Legion is one of the most innovative pistol platforms on the market today. Built around the proven P320 fire control unit, the FLUX system transforms the pistol into a compact, highly capable personal defense weapon. The Legion variant takes it a step further with upgraded ergonomics, an extended magazine well, improved trigger, manual safety, deployable brace, and optics ready configuration. Compact enough to fit in a bag yet powerful enough to serve as a serious defensive option, the FLUX Legion has quickly built a reputation as a purpose driven tool for professionals and enthusiasts alike.

Despite its strengths, the FLUX Legion has one consistent drawback: the slide is notoriously difficult to rack in the traditional “C-clamp” grip at the rear. The optics mounting plate sits high and partially covers the rear serrations, making the process awkward and sometimes frustrating, especially under stress. The anodized finish is clean and durable, and the example shown here even features the Legion logo laser etched into the surface, a subtle but sharp detail that matches the aesthetics of the host pistol. Range Panda includes multiple sets of screws so the handle can be fitted to different variations of the P320 slide. Installation is straightforward, and a dab of threadlocker is all that is needed to secure it in place.

At $60, the Range Panda charging handle is an affordable upgrade that solves the FLUX Legion’s biggest ergonomic weakness. It does not compromise concealability, it works seamlessly alongside optics, and it adds real functionality in a clean, well executed package. For anyone running a FLUX, this is an accessory worth adding immediately.
