In a meaningful ceremony at the Cleveland Sight Center, University Circle Police Department in Cleveland, Ohio, welcomed Kenneth Foderaro as its newest Police Ambassador. Blind since birth, Kenny has been a close friend of Officer Jeff Ridler for 28 years and will work alongside him to build connections with residents who are blind or have low vision.

Kenny, 38, is an accomplished singer and piano player — even having performed in Israel with an international band. As Police Ambassador, he’ll help educate officers on better serving individuals with visual impairments and raise community awareness about the important contributions of people who are blind.
