Joel Jacobsen, owner and founder, walks us through Magne-Tech’s precision magnetic mounts and accessories. Tired of missing the perfect shot because you had to change out your scope? Never fear! Magne-Tech’s gear is here! Joel shows us how you can change out a scope in seconds… all without losing your zero.
You can use a day, night, and thermal scope, with the ability to switch between them instantly. It’s no wonder that they won Best Accessory at SHOT Show 2026.
“Our slogan is change your scope, not your zero,” says Joel.
He continues to demonstrate what Magne-Tech offers by showcasing the magnetic Picatinny mount. Read more below.

The mount is available in 3-inch and 6-inch configurations, so you can have the right scope mount for the job. In this case, Joel demonstrates how to install a red dot onto the base. For visual learners, watch our video below.
Our video is below
First, install the small Pic mount onto your optic of choice, such as a red dot in this case. Then, it snaps right onto the base, and you lock it in place by tightening the dual redundant thumb screw on the side. Once you want to change out your optic, loosen the thumb screw and press the left lock lever. Then you can just roll it right out!
