HOLOSUN ARO EVO DUAL
SHOT Show 2026 brought an early look at two upcoming Holosun optics built around integrated IR and VIS laser capability.

SHOT Show 2026 brought an early look at two upcoming Holosun optics built around integrated IR and VIS laser capability. At the Holosun booth, Brandon walked through the AEMS Dual Pro and the ARO EVO Dual.

The Holosun AEMS Dual Pro uses a housing slightly larger than the AEMS Pro X2 but smaller than the AEMS Pro Max. Flip caps remain on the optic, with a single CR123 battery powering the system.

The AEMS front lens cap allows the laser to be used when it is down.

Controls split cleanly by side. Brightness up, brightness down, and the activation button for visible or IR laser sits on the left. A dedicated mode selector lies on the right near the battery port, allowing the user to switch between visible and IR operation.

Just forward of that selector is a crane port. Holosun plans support for a dual-button remote switch for the user to mount wherever they like. That switch allows control of visible and IR functions without leaving the firing grip.

The AEMS has a slightly larger window compared to the ARO.

The ARO Evo Dual shares the same core technology, integrating both visible and IR lasers into a red dot optic. Its design follows the existing Aero Evo footprint and uses a 26mm objective lens.

The laser emitters are located at the bottom of the objective lens.

A CR123 battery sits on the right side, capped with a rotating dial. Rotating left selects IR, center shuts the unit off, and rotating right selects visible operation. Brightness controls and the laser activation button remain on the left side of the housing.

The crane port sits toward the rear left and routes through the integrated mount. From there, it connects to a dual-button pressure switch. Holosun noted that the Aero Evo Dual will ship with a 1.93-inch mount in addition to the lower third mount to provide additional clearance for the laser over your support hand.

Both visible and IR lasers are slaved together with the optic reticle. Adjust one to zero all three.

While Holosun did not provide a release date, they hope to have production models ready to ship by this time next year.

While availability may not be certain, Brandon did share tentative pricing targets. The Aero Evo Dual is expected to land around $499, while the AEMS Dual Pro is projected closer to $699. Final pricing remains subject to change as development continues.

Be sure to check out the Holosun website for more information on these two optics.
