The SIG P211-GT4 targets shooters who want a serious 2011-style pistol that actually makes sense for concealed carry.
With a non-compensated slide, low-profile magwell, and balanced steel frame make it easier to conceal than SIG’s competition-focused P211s.
All without giving up the accuracy, trigger quality, or recoil control shooters expect from a premium 2011.

The P211-GT4 uses a 4.2-inch target-crowned bull barrel paired with a carry-length SIG-LOC PRO optic-ready slide. The slide supports SIG-LOC PRO and DeltaPoint Pro–pattern optics, making it easy to run popular pistol dots without adapters.
The pistol uses a steel frame matched to an aluminum grip module with G10 grip panels. That combination keeps weight where it matters while maintaining a solid feel in the hand. Ambidextrous controls come standard, including the thumb safety and slide catch.

SIG fits the GT4 with a low-profile, removable steel magwell. It speeds reloads without adding unnecessary bulk, especially compared to the larger magwell found on the full-size GT5. This smaller magwell and the shorter barrel are about all that distinguish the GT4 from the GT5.

On the range, the slide cycles smoothly and feels well-balanced for a steel gun. The flat, skeletonized trigger breaks cleanly at around 3.5 pounds, with minimal creep. Recoil stays flat and controllable, even without a compensator, thanks to the weight of the steel frame and bull barrel. I had no problem getting consistent hits on a silhouette at 50 yards.

The grip angle and texture feel familiar to shooters used to 2011s or P320-based competition guns. Controls are easy to reach from either side. The trigger also felt great and broke cleanly somewhere around 3.5lbs.

The SIG SAUER P211-GT4 ships with two 21-round magazines and one 17-round magazine. It is also available with 10-round options for compliant states. Black and coyote finishes will be offered, along with optic-equipped variants.

MSRP lands around $2,300, placing it slightly below the GTO. Orders open during SHOT Show, with shipping expected shortly after. Stay tuned for a full review somewhere down the road!
