LAS VEGAS (October 2, 2025) – In the wake of two major court-ordered injunctions explicitly protecting members of Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC), the organization today launched a new secure online portal where members can instantly verify their membership status, download or print an official FPC Certificate of Membership Status, update their contact information, and join or renew their FPC membership. These important new features can be accessed at firearmspolicy.org/membership.

FPC built this tool to ensure members can exercise their rights in light of the Supreme Court’s June 2025 Trump v. CASA decision, where it held that so-called “universal injunctions” “likely exceed the equitable authority that Congress has granted to federal courts.” Because of this decision, the government and some courts are limiting the application of relief, sometimes only to named plaintiffs such as FPC and its members.
This tool is already critical for gun owners nationwide. In FPC’s Hoffman v. Bonta case, the court blocked California’s ban on non-resident carry permits—but only for FPC’s members and the individually named plaintiffs. And just yesterday, in Firearms Policy Coalition v. Bondi, a federal court struck down the post office carry ban, but again limited the protection to the named plaintiffs, including FPC and its members.
“Our mission has always been to win freedom for all by getting cases to the Supreme Court. But under the Trump v. CASA decision, until the Court delivers nationwide relief, many victories will only be able to protect FPC members. This new FPC Certificate of Membership ensures our people can immediately benefit from the injunctions we’ve fought and won against unconstitutional laws,” said FPC President Brandon Combs.
Anyone who wants to be covered under member-only protections in current and future cases can join the FPC Grassroots Army today at firearmspolicy.org/join.
