Ruger is expanding its SR1911 “Street Edition” series with four new engraved models, each honoring one of its manufacturing facilities. This follows the October 2024 release of the first “Street Edition,” which marked Ruger’s 75th anniversary.

Each new pistol in the series will feature an engraved street name from one of Ruger’s facilities:
- Southport, CT – “1 Lacey Place”
- Newport, NH – “411 Sunapee St.”
- Mayodan, NC – “271 Cardwell Rd.”
- Prescott, AZ – “200 Ruger Rd.”
These Commander-style 1911s are chambered in .45 ACP and come with a 4.25″ stainless steel barrel. Each model will have a unique grip color, an engraved Ruger logo, and a bald eagle motif on the slide. Novak 3-dot sights are included for better target acquisition.
Ruger is limiting production to 500 units per model. Each pistol ships with two seven-round stainless steel magazines and a bushing wrench. MSRP is $1,899, compared to $1,279 for a standard SR1911 Lightweight Commander.
