Every once in a while at SHOT Show, we come across something that isn’t exactly gun-related but still makes us stop and say, “Okay, that’s awesome.”
This year, that honor goes to the Lenco BearCat, a fully armored, beastly transport designed for military and law enforcement use.
It’s big, it’s bold, and let’s be honest—we all kinda want one.

- Final Thoughts
Lenco wasn’t messing around when they built this thing. Sitting on a Ford diesel 7.3L engine and tipping the scales at a whopping 20,000 lbs, the BearCat is all about brute strength and protection.
It’s got off-road tires, so no matter the terrain, this thing is getting through.
First responders, SWAT teams, and military personnel need to get in and out of tough situations, and this ride ensures they do it in style and safety.
If you’re wondering how much armor this thing has, the answer is ALL OF IT. We’re talking 360-degree protection, including windows that can stop .50 cal rounds.

That’s right, even the glass is ready to shrug off rounds that would turn most vehicles into Swiss cheese. There’s even a turret on top, which, well… let your imagination run wild on that one.
Step inside, and you’ll find plenty of space. Bench seating runs along the back, meaning you can load up a full SWAT team or military response unit.
There’s also an access point for the turret, just in case things get a little spicy.
Now, before you start daydreaming about rolling up to your local grocery store in one of these, let’s clear something up—this is probably not available for civilians.
And if you have to ask about the price… well, let’s just say if you need to ask, you probably can’t afford it.
The Lenco BearCat isn’t just a vehicle—it’s a statement. It’s designed to keep first responders safe in the worst situations, and it does that job exceptionally well.
Even though it’s not something you’ll see in your driveway anytime soon, it’s always cool to see the next level of armored protection on display at SHOT Show.
Stay tuned for more gun-related content, but hey—sometimes, a massive armored truck deserves its moment in the spotlight!
