Matthew Craig

Matthew Craig is an application development and technical specialist engineer for Dyneema at Avient. In 2011, Matthew began working as an engineer at the Dyneema Technical Center, located in Charlotte, NC. Over the past 13 years, he has worked closely with multiple key customers within the body armor industry, helping them develop, process and test body and vehicle armor solutions. Matthew is an expert problem solver and is dedicated to helping customers develop armor solutions that work for their specific applications. The goal is to properly protect LEO and military personnel, and education is a crucial part of achieving that. Matthew holds a degree in mechanical engineering from UNC Charlotte. While he’s lived most of his life in North Carolina, he now lives in north Idaho with his wife and two sons. When he’s not at work, you’ll usually find him hiking, hunting, shooting and fishing in Idaho or Montana with his family.
