L – R: Mark Massop, Christopher Houston

Mark Massop began his career in law enforcement upon graduating from the Kansas City Regional Police Academy in 1988. In 1998, the Midwest High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) established an Investigative Support Center in Kansas City, where Mark was assigned as an Intelligence Analyst. In 2000, he was selected as the Outstanding Intelligence Analyst of the Year for the Midwest HIDTA. The same year the Office of the National Drug Control Policy selected Mark Massop as the Outstanding Intelligence Analyst for all of the HIDTA programs. In 2002, he returned to the Independence Police Department where he brought the agency’s intelligence unit into compliance with both CALEA standards and 28 CFR Part 23. During his tenure with the Police Department, Mark Massop received two awards for Valor from the Kansas City Metropolitan Police Chiefs and Sheriffs Association. He was also recognized by the Drug Enforcement Administration for Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Drug Investigations. He currently serves as Vice President, Sales, NEXYTE North America.

Christopher Houstonhas over 20 years of experience with Intelligence Operations & Analysis specializing in Counterterrorism and “defeat the network” targeting globally. During this time, Chris has held many positions responsible for using, training, evaluating and developing solutions utilizing Advanced Analytics tools. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security from the University of Maryland University College.
