The Tempo Barrel System uses a locked-breech system that makes it so that the barrel doesn’t cam open until the bullet passes the gas port.
The slide has cutouts on the top to lighten the weight and create less reciprocating mass. It’s also ready for red dot optics and has forward slide serrations.
The M&P 5.7 is built with a flat-face trigger that is designed to provide consistent finger placement. This feature allows for improved accuracy and precision when shooting.
