When it comes to low- and no-light scenarios, positive target identification is paramount. Shooting blindly at silhouettes in the dark is a good way to shoot someone you don’t intend to. For this reason, weapon lights, like the P.ID Weaponlight series from Holosun, are important for clear target identification at night.

Holosun P.ID Weaponlight Series
Constructed of a CNC milled 7075 anodized aluminum housing provides exceptional 2000g of shock resistance to the P.ID series. Likewise, each model features an IP68 waterproof rating, which is fully dust- and water-tight. As a result, you can trust that your weapon light can withstand any conditions the elements throw at you.
Mountable via Picatinny rail, the P.ID includes interchangeable rail interface keys for optimized button positioning. This also makes it compatible with many various firearm options. Similarly, the sleek case is compatible with common duty holsters.
Utilizing an ambidextrous switch, the P.ID can be activated via right- or left-handed operation. Running on a single 18350 flat-top battery, the light offers a 60-minute runtime. When the battery begins to run low, an included magnetic USB charging cable recharges the battery. However, the battery is removable, so you can replace it with a non-rechargeable battery in a pinch.
The P.ID will be available in four different versions:
The P.ID is currently shipping and features a 1,000-lumen, 23,000 candela white light.
P.ID HC will be shipping in Q1 of 2023 and features an 800-lumen, 42,000 candela white light.
The P.ID Plus will ship in Q4 of 2022. It features a high-power white light and visible green laser. The laser can be activated via WL or VIS buttons or simultaneously via Plus Mode. Plus Mode enables the user to fire both white light and green laser by pressing the activation button.
Finally, the P.ID Dual will also ship in Q4 of 2022. It will also feature a high-power white light and green laser. However, it also includes an infrared laser. It operates like the P.ID Plus and can utilize laser only, IR only, white light only, or a combination of modes.
Holosun P.ID Weaponlight series will be releasing throughout the year and into next year, with the P.ID available now. MSRP will range from $135.28 – $282.35. For more info, please visit Holosun.com.
