EAA’s MC P35 OPS Optic by Girsan pay homage to one of the most widely used handguns in the world. The all-steel construction, short recoil operated MC P35 OPS Optic offers a wealth of features for both the average shooter and competitive shooter including an extended beavertail, fiber optic front sight, G10 grips, straight clean-break trigger, beveled magwell & windage/elevation adjustable rear sight, no magazine disconnect, an integrated accessory rail, and it comes with an EAA FAR-DOT sight factory installed. The red dot is directly mounted to the pistol and does not require an adaptor plate for any optics that feature the RMS/RMSc footprint and it includes unique modifications for Holosun optics, making it one of the most universal patterns for compact pistol designs.

When we were looking at how to make the MC P35 OPS more useful and offer the customer something that they really wanted directly from the factory, a light and bright red dot that uses a mounting pattern that’s almost universally accepted without any sort of adapter plate was the overwhelming choice. Now, if the customer wants to keep it as is from the factory or if they want to accessorize it with lots of commercially available products at their local shop, they have every option right out of the box.

According to the manufacturer, the FAR DOT is “one of the smallest size red dots on the market, with a 4 MOA red dot [or] 6 MOA green dot and automatic brightness adjustment with lower power consumption technology.”

The EAA FAR-DOT red dot sight is listed as having up to a 20,000 hour battery life, depending on the setting. Both the red and green dot variants have dimensions of 1.6x1x0.9 inches. EAA states the dot is always powered on and the brightness of the dot adjusts according to available light.
