Both models are under 40 inches in length and weigh approximately 140 ounces, which is 8.75 pounds. The guns have iron sights and adjustable stocks so the length of pull can be set for the user. A Picatinny rail atop the receiver makes it easy to add a red dot sight or other accessories on the rifles and M-LOK compatible handguards also allow some additions. They take SR-25 pattern AR-10 mags.

The designers at Smith and Wesson specifically created these rifles to be aesthetically pleasing while being well-made and improved enough to provide superior performance to comparable models.
