Are you looking for the best binary triggers? Binary triggers are a lot of fun and allow you to shoot very fast legally. They can be switched from semi auto to binary and offer a huge advantage while not being a fully automatic weapon.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to follow and signup for notifications!

They are easy to install and are more affordable than getting a tax stamp, filing paperwork, and waiting for approval to get a full auto rifle. They have become popular recently and can be added to a wide variety of different firearms.

If you do not yet own a binary trigger, then you are missing out and should have at least one in your inventory. Anti-gunners do not like them and would happily see them banned.

This article will cover the best binary triggers on the market for different firearms.

Best Binary Triggers

Best Binary Triggers

Here is a list of the best binary triggers I recommend. There are easy to install and are direct drop-in replacement triggers.

These are for popular guns and platforms like the AR15, AK47, Ruger, CZ, H&K, and B&T.

1. Franklin Armory BFSIII AR-C1 Trigger

Best Binary Triggers

The Franklin Armory Binary Firing Trigger System III AR-C1 brings new trigger functionality to familiar AR platforms. This binary trigger will modify your AR rifle to fire on both the trigger pull and trigger release.

Franklin Armory BFS III Triggers are easy to install with no gunsmithing needed.

Competition shooters appreciate placing shots close to each other more quickly with Franklin Armory BFS III AR Trigger Systems.

Best Binary Triggers

This binary trigger is easy to install and requires no custom fitting. It is also a better trigger pull at 4.5 lbs than most factory mil-spec triggers. The release phase now has a positive reset, and the new design eliminates the backup disconnector.

A stronger buffer spring that is included reduces the possibility of hammer follow.

It works in most AR-style rifles without modification and works on .22 LR and 9mm uppers.

The trigger pin size is .154″, and it is not recommended for 80% lowers, polymer lowers, or carbon lowers.

Best Binary Triggers

The release round can be canceled by simply moving the selector out of binary mode while holding the trigger back.

This trigger system performs extremely well; even the trigger release feels good. It’s a heck of a lot of fun to shoot as well, but you will burn through ammunition very quickly with this one.

Best Binary Triggers

I have had many higher-end triggers before this one, and this one has one of the crispest breaks I’ve felt.

Mag dumps are a thrill, but I limit them because ammo is so expensive right now, but the double taps are amazingly accurate. Much better than a 3 round burst.

This trigger system can be purchased in either a traditional curve or in a straight flat faced trigger configuration.

Best Binary Triggers

These drop-in AR 15 triggers require a full-auto bolt carrier to function properly, and bolt carriers are not included with purchase.

With drop-in installation, cutting-edge technology, and clean trigger pulls, the Echo AR-II Trigger is an excellent addition to your AR platform. The patented design gained ATF approval.

Best Binary Triggers

The trigger pull is light, clean, and crisp. It feels really good in echo mode. It is also very reliable and dependable.

No proprietary carrier group is needed as long as it’s a full auto style bolt carrier group.

The Purpose of a Binary Trigger

Are there any ways you could increase shooting performance using an old AR-15? Having a binary trigger will make your shooting games more fun.

The use of these tools can help improve your practice drills. A Binary trigger increases the rate of fire by shooting a round on the trigger pull and one on the release of the trigger.

The purpose is to shoot fast. This is helpful when you may need to provide cover fire or just want to have some fun at the range or competition shooting.

How Does A Binary Trigger Work?

A Binary trigger is attached to firearms and is usually a drop in trigger group configuration. These technologies dramatically improve the firing rate.

It allows firing a single bullet at once. Upon release, the trigger triggers a second shot. You can use bullets as if they were fired automatically.

Once the trigger is pulled, the sear releases the hammer. When the hammer touches the firing pin, the gun fires. The bolt resets the hammer upon firing. Trigger springs are used to accomplish this.

When the trigger pull is then released, the firing process happens again.

Are Binary Triggers Illegal?

Not yet. Binary triggers are legal, but some states and local counties and towns have limitations on them.

It is your responsibility to know the local laws in your area. Federally there has been no determination on them, but if I had to guess, they would soon be on the chopping block just like bump stocks were.

Now might be the perfect time to pick up a few before it’s too late. Unfortunately, gun rights are always on the defensive.

Federal authorities have recently attempted to ban devices that make semi-automatic functions more comparable in functionality to fully automatics.

Earlier this year, a federal district attorney said he was considering a similar measure against the alleged manufacturer.

Binary Trigger vs Bump Stock

Bump stocks utilize a technique called bump firing. All a bump stock does is an aid in this technique.

Bump firing is not accurate or very controllable or consistent. You are essentially letting the recoil of firing help you slap the trigger.

Also, bump stocks have now been banned. Using a binary trigger is a much better way of shooting fast. Shots are more controllable and accurate, and you can select from semi-automatic or binary modes.

Having a good binary trigger is the superior way to shoot fast if you want to.

Binary Trigger vs Full Auto

A Binary trigger is not a fully automatic trigger. A binary trigger fires a single round on the pull and then one on the release.

Full auto keeps firing while the trigger is held down. Full auto firearms are strictly regulated; owning one is impossible for most citizens. Also, even if you can legally own one in your state, the entire process is a huge headache.

Just not worth it currently, in my opinion. Maybe one day, the laws will change, and full autos will become a more viable option and you will be able to own a machine gun more easily and legally.

That’s the great thing about a binary trigger system, though. You get close to full auto without the headache. Currently, they are legal, but in the future, I can see the binary firing system being banned, unfortunately.

Again, always make sure you know and follow your specific local laws.

Is The Franklin Armory Binary Trigger The Best

The Franklin Armory binary trigger is well known and one of the best manufacturers of them. They have a smooth trigger pull and are a drop in trigger system.

The trigger system can be purchased in a standard curved trigger or a straight trigger for most of their models.

Most people choose to go with the standard curved trigger because it is familiar, and the metal trigger pull weight feels natural.

Franklin Armory binary triggers work great and allow you to cycle from semi-automatic to binary mode. Many people have used them and stand by how great their binary triggers work.

Franklin Armory triggers are some of the best on the binary trigger market.
